
Marlies Fall 5-2 against Hamilton

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, defeated the Toronto Marlies by a score of 5-2 this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum.
Gabriel Dumont gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead at 6:34 of the opening frame. The Marlies would tie the game before the end of the period when Stuart Percy notched his second goal of the season. Hamilton would open up a 4-2 lead before the end of the second period with Mike Blunden, Sven Andrighetto and Justin Courtnall scoring for the Bulldogs. Jerry D'Amigo's 16th goal of the season was Toronto's lone tally of the middle period. Mike Blunden secured the victory for Hamilton, scoring his second goal of the game at 4:11 of the third period.
The Marlies return to the ice tomorrow afternoon when they host the Lake Erie Monsters, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, at 3 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825) or by visiting marlies.ca.
