Kellan Lain Reassigned to the Comets

Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have reassigned forward Kellan Lain to the AHL Utica Comets.

Lain, 24, has recorded 12 points (7-5-12) and a team leading 96 penalty minutes in 42 games with the Comets this season. He has played nine games with the Vancouver Canucks, recording one point (1-0-1) and 21 penalty minutes.

The 6'6", 217 pound native of Oakville, ON, was originally signed by Vancouver as a free agent on March 16, 2013.
