
Marlies Fall 4-3 against Hamilton

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, defeated the Toronto Marlies by a score of 4-3 this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum.
Jerry D'Amigo opened the scoring just 51 seconds into the game on his 11th goal of the season. Jarred Tinordi and Sven Andrighetto would tally for Hamilton before the end of the first period to give the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead. Mike Blunden extended the Hamilton lead to 3-1 on a powerplay goal at 13:24 of the middle frame. Andrighetto notched his second goal of afternoon at 56 seconds of the third period to give the Bulldogs a three goal lead. Despite two goals from Greg McKegg in the final frame, the Marlies were unable to complete the comeback.
Toronto returns to the ice on Saturday, February 15 for an exhibition game against FÃÆÃ¤rjestad BK of the Swedish Hockey League. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum.
