Mackenzie Assigned to Alaska

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that they have assigned defenceman Drew MacKenzie to the Alaska Aces, the Heat's developmental affiliate in the ECHL.

MacKenzie, a native of New Canaan, Connecticut has played in 17 games this season for the Heat and has recorded five points (1-4-5) and 14 penalty minutes.

Today at 4:00pm, the Heat will host the Texas Stars in their last home game before the AHL All-Star Break. It will be the annual Pink in the Rink game supporting the BC Cancer Research Foundation.
