Foursome Heads Back to Utica

Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have reassigned defencemen Frank Corrado and Yann Sauve, and forwards Kellan Lain and Pascal Pelletier to the AHL Utica Comets.

Corrado, 20, has split the season with Vancouver and Utica. He played in 11 games for Vancouver and collected seven points (3-4-7) in 36 games with Utica. The Toronto native was drafted by Vancouver 150th overall in the 2011 NHL Draft.

Sauve, 23, has collected nine points (0-9-9) and 37 penalty minutes in 39 games with the Comets this season. The Montreal, QC, native has played in three games for Vancouver this season. The 6'3", 220-pound defenceman was originally selected by Vancouver 41st overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Pelletier, 30, has appeared in 39 games with the Utica Comets this season, registering 39 points (9-30-39). The Labrador, Newfoundland, native has played three games this season with Vancouver. The 5'11â=80", 190-pound centre signed with Vancouver on July 5, 2013, as a free agent.

Lain, 24, has appeared in eight games for the Canucks this season, notching one goal. He also collected 11 points (7-4-11) in 35 games with Utica. The 6'6â=80", 222-pound forward originally signed with Vancouver as a free agent on March 16, 2013.
