Toronto Marlies News Release

Game Preview

The Toronto Marlies (9-8-2-2) are preparing for the Providence Bruins (10-8-4-0) on Wednesday night, looking to bounce back from a loss to Lehigh Valley on Sunday.

The Marlies' high-powered offence will get set for the Bruins for the first time this season. They've scored 14 goals in just the past three games and have a league-high 86 on the season so far.

Chris Mueller is leading the attack upfront for Toronto with a team-high 21 points (10G, 11A) while Trevor Moore has lit the lamp the most so far with 11 goals on the year.

Calle Rosen's 18 points (2G, 16A) put him second in team scoring while Carl Grundstrom (7G, 10A) is tied with recently acquired Michael Carcone (6G, 11A) for third.

Providence enter the game having earned at least a point in each of their last seven games, five of those wins. They saw their win streak snapped in a 3-2 loss to Charlotte on Sunday.

Ryan Fitzgerald's 19 points (7G, 12A) put him at the top of the pack for Providence while rookie Cameron Hughes holds the team lead in goals with eight.

Puck drop tonight is scheduled for 7:00 and fans can catch all the action on Leafs Nation Network and AHLTV.
