Admirals Sign Duncan Siemens to AHL Deal

Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that they have signed defenseman Duncan Siemens to an AHL contract for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.

Siemens joins the Admirals after spending the past six seasons with the Colorado Avalanche organization. In 2017-18 he skated in 16 games with Avs, tallying a goal and an assist and 23 penalty minutes during the regular season and also played in five games with Colorado in the playoffs in their first round match-up against the Predators.

The 6'3", 193-lbs blueliner has notched five goals and 26 assists and 341 penalty minutes in 274 career AHL contests with the Lake Erie Monsters and the San Antonio Rampage. Last season with the Rampage he tallied seven points (1g-6a) in 45 games. A native of Sherwood Park, AB, Siemens was a first round pick (11th overall) of the Avalanche in 2011.

Siemens is not expected to be in the line-up tonight when the team visits the Texas Stars at 7 pm in Austin. The Ads returns home Tues., Dec. 11 at 7:00 pm against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Panther Arena.
