Thunderbirds Announce Staff Promotion

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Springfield Thunderbirds announced on Wednesday the promotion of Danny Baxter to Manager of Digital/Social Media and Marketing.
Baxter joined the Thunderbirds as a digital media intern in 2016 before being promoted to Producer of Digital/Social Media in 2017. From his first season photographing game action to the present day, Baxter has put his creative stamp on the Thunderbirds through various in-game and social media productions and works, notably as a director for the Thunderbirds' video series "The Future," which delves into the careers and lives of Thunderbirds players on and off the ice.
Beginning in the 2017-18 season, "The Future" went on the road as Baxter traveled with the Thunderbirds to provide unique access to Thunderbirds fans from various AHL cities. In his new position, Baxter will maintain his role as a content creator while also taking on the management of the Thunderbirds' marketing strategies.
