Brampton Beast News Release
BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John's IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that centre Mark MacMillan has been reassigned to the Beast, while winger Stefan Fournier and goaltender Eddie Pasquale have been recalled to the AHL's IceCaps.
MacMillan, 23, is in his rookie season in the professional ranks and has suited up for a single game with the AHL's IceCaps this season as well as three contests with the Beast and has yet to record a point thus far this season.
Fournier, also 23, has played five games with the Beast this season and recorded his first point of the season, an assist, in Sunday afternoon's 5-2 win over the Toledo Walleye. He has yet to suit up for the IceCaps this season.
Pasquale picked up his first ECHL victory since the 2010-11 season this past Sunday, kicking out 23 saves to help the Beast earn their first win of the season. Fans in St. John's will be excited to see Eddie rejoin the IceCaps as he was a key member of the IceCaps from 2011 to 2014, suiting up for 112 games when the club was the affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets.
The Beast are back at the Powerade Centre this weekend for three games in three days against the Manchester Monarchs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Single game tickets are now available, starting at $16.25. Trial Packs for the 2015-16 season are also available starting at $39.99 that include three game tickets.
