Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans had a week off in between games, playing on Saturday night at home against the Missouri Mavericks in a matchup of the top two teams in the ECHL Central division.

Saturday, October 31st vs. Missouri - 2-1 Win
Allen, Texas - The Americans never trailed in this one, breaking a 0-0 tie midway through the second period when Jonathan Parker scored on a breakaway beating Mavericks goalie Parker Milner, to give Allen a 1-0 lead. The Americans would cash in four minutes later, as Chad Costello knocked one home after a great pass in front of the net from Greger Hanson to make it 2-0 Allen. Missouri would score late with the extra attacker on the ice, but Joel Rumpel would not be beaten again in a 2-1 Americans victory at the Allen Event Center. Game Highlights BoxScore

Matchup - The Allen Americans open a three-game road trip on Tuesday night in Tulsa. This will be the third matchup this season between the two teams and Allen is 1-1-0 in that series so far. The Americans wrap up the three-game road swing with two this weekend in South Dakota against the Rush. The former division rivals will meet a total of four times this season.
