Last Week's Games:
(Wednesday, Oct. 28th vs. Rapid City) The Eagles scored four goals from four different goal-scorers and goaltender Jacob DeSerres notched his first professional shutout, turning aside all 19 shots he faced in a 4-0 win over the Rush. Defenseman Adrian Veideman and forward Kyle Ostrow each registered multi-point nights, while forward Jesse Mychan extended his goal-scoring streak to three consecutive games, as the Eagles earned their first win of the season.
(Friday, Oct. 30th @ Wichita) The Eagles and Thunder met for the first time since the 2010-11 season on Friday, with Wichita exploding for five goals on the night to grab the win 5-2. Eagles forward Patrick D'Amico registered his first professional goal in the loss, while fellow forward Ludwig Karlsson tallied his first point as an Eagle during his Colorado debut.
(Saturday, Oct. 31st @ Wichita) Despite dominating the Thunder 34-15 in shots-on-goal, the Eagles fell in the finale of a two-game set in Wichita, 2-1. Trent Daavettila scored his second goal in as many games in the loss, as Colorado posted a season-high 18 shots in the first period.
Transactions:
Forward Ludwig Karlsson was acquired in a trade with the Orlando Solar Bears on Monday (10/26), in exchange for future considerations.
This Week:
(Friday, Nov. 6 vs. Tulsa, 7:05pm) The Eagles will kick-off a two-game homestand against the Tulsa Oilers on Friday. This will be the first time that the Eagles and Oilers will face one another since March 12, 2011. Colorado will be looking for its second straight win at the Budweiser Events Center, after registering a 4-0 shutout vs. Rapid City on October 28th.
(Friday, Oct. 30 @ Wichita, 6:05pm) Colorado will wrap-up its brief set against Tulsa on Saturday, as the two teams will not face-off again until March 29th. The Oilers enter this week's action with a 3-3-0-0 record on the season, having gone 1-2-0-0 on the road.
