BFL Canada to Sponsor ECHL Hall of Fame Luncheon, Ken Holland to Deliver Keynote

KALAMAZOO, MI- Detroit Red Wings general manager and executive vice president Ken Holland has been named keynote speaker for the 9th annual ECHL Hall of Fame luncheon presented by BFL Canada as part of the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week presented by PNC Bank and Bronson Sports Medicine, the Kalamazoo Wings announced in conjunction with the ECHL on Monday.

The event, set to take place at the Radisson Plaza Hotel and Suites in Kalamazoo at 12 p.m. on February 5, is one of the highlights of the ECHL's premier mid-season event. Aside from Holland acting as the keynote speaker, the presentation will also include the induction of the 2016 ECHL Hall of Fame class, which will be announced in December.

"The ECHL is thrilled to bring the Hall of Fame Luncheon to Kalamazoo, a city rich with hockey history, as part of our line-up of festivities during the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week," said Ryan Crelin, senior vice president of business operations for the ECHL. "We couldn't be happier to have Ken Holland to help us commemorate this induction, along with BFL Canada's continued support to make this one of our signature league events."

Individual luncheon tickets can be purchased for $49 starting Monday, November 9, or luncheon tickets can be purchased as part of the Hall of Fame ticket package for $79, which includes a game ticket to the February 5 contest against Toledo, a Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit pass, a Stanley Cup viewing with photo, and luncheon access. Tickets can be purchased at the Wings Event Center box office or at kwings.com.

Highlights of the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week presented by PNC Bank and Bronson Hospital:

Kalamazoo hosts the Adirondack Thunder on Wednesday, November 4 in the annual education day game with a special 10:30 a.m. start time. The game can be heard on AM 1660 The Fan.

Single-game tickets are now on sale! Tickets can be purchased at kwings.com or at the Wings Event Center box office. Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
