Augusta Lynx News Release

AUGUSTA, GA— The Augusta Lynx announced today that they have acquired Right Winger Mike Legg from the Columbia Inferno for an undisclosed amount of cash. The 6'0, 195-pound Legg had tallied five goals and seven assists in twenty games for the Inferno before being obtained by the Lynx. Legg, in his fifth professional season, was a 11th round draft pick by the New Jersey Devils in 1993. He hails from London, Ontario and graduated from the University of Michigan.

With Legg's Veteran status, the Lynx made room for the scoring forward by moving Defenseman Mike Perna to the Baton Rouge Kingfish. In other transactions, Patrick Yetman was returned from Hartford of the AHL and is expected to be in the lineup this weekend, forward John Campbell was dealt to the Cincinnati Storm, and earlier this week forward Mike Oliveira was sent to Baton Rouge.

The Lynx will have the Fiesta Bowl on all televisions located throughout the concourse during the course of Friday's game, the game will also be shown on the In-Arena Big Screen televisions during pregame and intermissions.

The Lynx play host to the Greenville Grrrowl on Friday night with the face-off scheduled for 7:35pm. It's Glit/Microtron Night with the first 1,500 fans in the door getting Hannah Helper Sponge Buckets.
