Clinton LumberKings News Release

Clinton starter Matt Lorenzo, who was among the league's most dominant pitchers in April only to fall into a deep funk by late May that carried into the all-star break, got back on track last night with a truly dominate performance, shutting out South Bend on three hits and two walks through seven innings, fanning seven along the way.

Micah Furtado smoked a double in a 2-4, two RBI outing while Andrew Wishy, Kevin Richardson and Abigail Sandoval each went 1-3 with a solo bomb and a walk. For Wishy, it as the left fielder's ninth bomb and 35th RBI.
