Liotti Called Up

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce defenseman Louis Liotti has been called-up to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

Liotti has earned five points (0 goals, 5 assists) and has a plus/minus ranking of +2 in 27games with Kalamazoo.

The native of Westbury, New York started the season in Worcester, where he played in five games with the Sharks.

Liotti becomes the 20th call-up from the K-Wings this season to play in the AHL.

The K-Wings will return to the ice tonight, Saturday, January 30th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Cincinnati Cyclones during the 2nd Annual McDonald's Golden Ice Game, presented by McDonald's and WNWN.

While the K-Wings already wear McDonald's themed warm-up jerseys during the entire season, the team will also don a special McDonald's themed jersey for the night. Following the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off with a portion of the proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House of West Michigan.

As fans enter the game, all kids 12 and under will receive a FREE coupon for a McDonald's Happy Meal, which will be redeemable at any of the McDonald's in Southwest Michigan. The first 5,000 fans into Wings Stadium will also receive a commemorative Golden Ice rally towel courtesy of McDonald's.

Single-game tickets for any regular season home game are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
