The red-hot Elmira Jackals will try to make it four straight wins, as they host the Gwinnett Gladiators on Saturday at First Arena at 7:35 p.m.

Last night, the Jackals routed the Gladiators for the second time this season, winning 8-1 at home. The Jackals have outscored the Gladiators 19-4 in two games this season, having won 11-3 on Nov. 14 at Gwinnett. Over the last three games, the Jackals have outscored their opponents 23-5.

In the victory, Tyler Donati and Justin Donati each had four points, R.J. Anderson had a +5, and Julien Ellis made 24 saves on 25 shots for his third straight victory.

With the win on Friday, the Jackals moved to just two points back of the Reading Royals for the top spot in the American East Division. This is the closest the Jackals have been since Dec. 5, when the Jackals entered play trailing the Royals by one point. The Royals take on the Charlotte Checkers in Reading, Pa. on Saturday night.
