The IronPigs (45-55) play Game 2 of a three-game series against the sixth-place Syracuse Chiefs (39-62) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 3-2 walk-off win in 11 innings last night, the Pigs have won six consecutive contests over Syracuse and have improved to 3-2 on this seven-game homestand. The surging Pigs have won 16 of their last 23 affairs and sport the IL's best record (23-13) since June 14 after falling back to their low-water mark (22-42) of the season... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have dropped three straight contests to fall to 1-4 on this seven-game, North Division road trip. Still, the Chiefs are 11-8 since setting a low-water mark (28-54) on July 3. They're also 20-19 since June 14, following a 3-25 span.

RHP David Buchanan (2-0, 2.96) will start for LHV against RHP Paolo Espino (3-3, 2.71).
