The first two innings were uneventful as both teams would not cross the plate. Action would get started in the bottom of the third as Adam Frank, of the Wisconsin Woodchucks, drove a two-run home run over the fence for the first runs of the game. Lakeshore would come to the plate looking answer Wisconsin's two runs.
