
Kyle Jean Returns to Greenville

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced center Kyle Jean has been released from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO) with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and is expected to return to the Upstate in time for tomorrow's contest against Orlando.
Jean, 24, led the Road Warriors in goals (6), power play goals (2), shots (26) and points (10) through the first nine games this season. With Charlotte, he earned two assists, four penalty minutes and an even rating in eight contests.
Last season, the Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan native appeared in 41 AHL games with Hartford and registered four points (2g, 2a) with 29 penalty minutes. He also spent 24 regular-season contests with Greenville and an additional 15 playoff games. During the Road Warriors run to the Eastern Conference Finals, Jean earned 12 points (7g, 5a) including a triple overtime game-winning goal against Kalamazoo in Game 5 of the first round on April 26, 2014.
The 6'4, 203-pound forward began his professional career during the 2012-13 season with the AHL's Connecticut Whale, where he produced 23 points (9g, 14a) in 73 games. Previously, Jean played two seasons at Lake Superior State University with fellow Road Warriors' forward Ben Power from 2010-2012.

Teddy Bear Toss ( VIDEO ): Friday, December 5th is the annual "Teddy Bear Toss" benefiting Toys for Tots! All fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the game to throw onto the ice after the Road Warriors score their first goal. All stuffed animals will be collected and donated to Toys for Tots. December 5th is also the Warriors annual "Sing for Santa" game Enjoy school choirs performing holiday favorites during the first intermission as the Road Warriors battle Orlando at 7:00 p.m. The popular Warrior Fun Pack is also available for the December 5th game. Greenville returns to SANDLAPPER Securities Rink at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena tomorrow for a 7:00 p.m. face-off against the Orlando Solar Bears.
