INDIANAPOLIS - For the fourth time this season, Indy Fuel goaltender Mac Carruth has been reassigned by the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks to the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, the Fuel announced Wednesday. A seventh round selection (191st overall) by Chicago in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Carruth is 0-3-1-2 with a 3.11 goals-against average (GAA) and a .895 save percentage (S%) in six appearances for the Fuel this season.

In one AHL appearance for the IceHogs this year, Carruth, 22, stopped each of the 23 shots he faced in a 3-0 road win for Rockford over the Chicago Wolves on November 23rd. In his career, the Jackson Hole, Wyoming native is 3-2-1 in eight career AHL appearances, all for the IceHogs, with a combined .894 S%.

The Fuel also announced Wednesday that Pete Massar, a 5'9", 180 lb. forward from Williston, Vermont, has been activated from the 21-day injured reserve list. A former University of Vermont Catamount, Massar notched one goal and three points in five games played for Indy before being sidelined with a lower-body injury following the Fuel's 4-2 road loss to the Evansville IceMen on October 25th.

Additionally, the Fuel announced Wednesday the signing of Indianapolis native Jordan Tibbett, a 6'1", 185 lb. goaltender, to an ECHL standard player contract. Having previously served as an emergency backup goaltender for Indy this season, Tibbett, 24, joins the Fuel following a four-year playing career in the collegiate ranks at Mercyhurst College from 2010 to 2014.
