Colorado Eagles News Release

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames and Adirondack Flames of the AHL, announced Wednesday that they have re-signed forward Kyle Kraemer for the 2014-15 season. Kraemer joined the Eagles in February as part of a trade that ultimately sent defenseman John Ryder and forward Dylan Hood to the Ontario Reign in exchange. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound forward would go on to register 20 points in 30 regular season games with Eagles, including 12 goals. He would add another four points in six post-season contests with Colorado.

Kraemer will begin the 2014-15 season on the 21-day IR, as he continues to rehab from off-season surgery.

The St. Louis, Missouri native has racked up 208 points in 241 total ECHL games, posting 95 goals and 113 assists during that span. During the 2012-13 campaign with Ontario, Kraemer scored 30 goals and registered 71 points in 71 games, finishing the year at a plus-27. He would go on to add another 8 points in 10 post-season contests. Those numbers would help him to be named to the ECHL's All-Star 2nd Team in 2013.

The product of Northeastern University amassed 65 points in 119 NCAA games with the Huskies, prior to making his pro debut with the Kalamazoo Wings in 2010.
