Great Lakes Loons News Release
DAYTON, OH -- With a day/night doubleheader looming today in Dayton, the Great Lakes Loons, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Dodgers, have announced that right-handed pitcher Given Kutz, who began the season with Inland Empire, has been added to the team's active roster.
In the California League, Kutz was 0-1 with a 4.43 ERA in 10 games. To make room for Kutz on the roster, right-handed pitcher Kyle Smit, who started yesterday, has been placed on the Ogden roster.
Kutz will be active for the Loons' games today in Dayton. Game times are noon and 7pm. The games will be carried in Mid-Michigan on ESPN 100.9-FM and online at Loons.com.
The Great Lakes Loons are the second-year Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and members of the Midwest League. For more information about the Loons, visit Loons.com or call 989-837-BALL.
