The Cedar Rapids Kernels continue the longest home stand of the season, 11 games, Monday, May 19. The home stand features food, fun, entertainment and fireworks - here's a rundown of what you can expect each day:
May 19-22 vs. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
It's a Mix 96.5 FM Belly Buster Monday when the Kernels take on Wisconsin at 6:30 pm. Enjoy all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and peanuts for $7, plus the cost of a ticket. The Kernels welcome students from St. Pius and Trinity Lutheran Schools to the game. Gates open at 5:30 pm.
Baseball should be played on warm, sunny afternoons, and that's what happens on Tuesday, May 20 on Z 102.9 Lunch at the Ballpark. Enjoy a Triple Play Lunch Combo for just $6! Gates open at 11 am and the Kernels take on Wisconsin at high noon.
You could be chosen to play Wii games on the Rockwell Collins GameLink as part of Z 102.9 Wii Wednesday on May 21. Sign up at the Z 102.9 table and two lucky fans will play Wii games before the game on the GameLink LED video board. Regular hot dogs are $1 all game long and the Kernels welcome Westfield and Oak Ridge Elementary Schools to their night at the stadium. Get here when the gates open at 5:30 pm, as the first 250 fans through the gates receive a free sample bag of Popcorn Indiana Summer BBQ popcorn. Game time is 6:30 pm.
Slake your thirst on Thursday, May 22 when the Kernels take on Wisconsin at 6:30 pm. It's 100.7 The Fox Thirsty Thursday where 12 oz. draft beer is $1.50 and bottled soda and water is $2 all game. The Kernels welcome students from the Marion Independent School District to the game as Vernon Middle School and Emerson Elementary have their school nights. Gates open at 5:30 pm.

You could win a Harley Davidson FXDC motorcycle with chrome detailing as part of the Kernels Foundation season-long Harley raffle. Tickets are on sale for $5 each or five for $20 with the proceeds to fund area youth recreational programs and facilities supported by the Kernels Foundation. The drawing is Monday, September 1st during the Kernels game vs. Clinton at 2 pm. You need not be present to win, but you must be 16 years or older to buy a ticket or win the raffle. The winner is responsible for the tax, title and license fees. Tickets can be purchased at all Kernel home games and in the Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop during normal business hours (10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday).
