Krahn Promoted to AHL

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today goaltender Brent Krahn has been recalled by the Calgary Flames of the NHL and loaned to San Antonio of the AHL.

Krahn will head to the AHL for the third time this season after two previous stints with the AHL's Lowell Lock Monsters. In seven games for Lowell, Krahn posted a 2-3-0 record with a goals against average of 2.62 and a save percentage of .924. In 13 games with the Wranglers, the Calgary Flames 2000 NHL Entry Draft first round pick (9th Overall) posted a 7-5-2 record with a 2.61 goals against average and a save percentage of .925.

The Wranglers continue their run for the Kelly Cup ending a four-game home stand tonight with the Trenton Titans at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will then hit the road for five straight games starting Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in Long Beach.
