ROANOKE VA â The following is a list of upcoming community events that will be attended by members of the Roanoke Express.
Friday, February 6, 2004 â Express players Joe Dusbabek and David Silverstone will be on hand at the Valley View Grand Cinemas for the opening of the movie "Miracle", which depicts the 1980 United States Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team, and their capture of the gold medal. Dusbabek and Silverstone will be signing autographs beginning at 6:30 p.m., and will then be joining moviegoers in watching the film at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 7, 2004 â Express players Joe Dusbabek and David Silverstone will be at the Women's Expo at the Salem Civic Center. From 11 a.m. â 1 p.m. Dusbabek and Silverstone will be signing autographs.
The Express' next home game is on Tuesday, February 17 when it hosts the Greensboro Generals at 7:00 p.m. at the Roanoke Civic Center. Roanoke remains at home on Friday and Saturday, February 20 & 21 to take on the Gwinnett Gladiators. For group ticket information, please contact the Express office at (540) 343-4500.
