
Knight Monsters Add Rookie Forwards Ryder Donovan & Blake Wells

STATELINE, NV - The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forwards Ryder Donovan and Blake Wells for the 2025-26 season.
Donovan, 24, begins his professional career with the Knight Monsters after closing out his senior season at the University of St. Thomas (CCHA). From 2019-2022, the 6-3, 203-pound center played three seasons at the University of Wisconsin (BIG-10) where he totaled 12 points with 92 penalty minutes in 88 games. The Duluth, Minnesota resident was selected by the Vegas Golden Knights, in the Fourth Round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
Wells, 26, made his professional debut in 2024, appearing in three games with the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies. That same season, the 6-2, 200-pound forward also collected ten points (4g, 6a) in 32 games at American International College (AHA). From 2019-2023, the Blackie, Alberta resident played four collegiate seasons at UMass-Lowell (H-East) where he totaled 18 points.
