Kings Recall Harrold From Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled defenseman Peter Harrold from the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Harrold, 23, in 17 games with the Monarchs this season is tied for first among defensemen and tied for second overall with 13 points (2-11=13). The Kings signed Harrold as an unrestricted free agent on July 12, 2006. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound native of Kirtland Hills, Ohio, has not appeared in an NHL game and will wear jersey No. 49.

Harrold recorded 69 points (14-55=69) and 84 penalty minutes in 154 games over four seasons with Boston College before signing with the Kings this past summer.
