Sharks sign forward Josh Prudden to PTO

Worcester, Mass. - The Worcester Sharks announced today that center Josh Prudden has been signed to a Professional Tryout Agreement. Prudden will join the Sharks for tomorrow night's game in Hartford against the Wolf Pack.

In 11 games for the Sharks ECHL affiliate Fresno Falcons, Prudden ranks third on the Falcons with 12 points (5+7=12). He is tied for the team lead in both plus/minus (+7) and power-play goals (3).

Prudden spent each of the last two seasons with the Sharks' AHL affiliate in Cleveland, scoring 43 points in 149 games.

The Sharks return home on Friday, November 26 to take on the Springfield Falcons and will be wearing their Black Third Jersey. The Worcester Sharks and Baystate Financial Services will partner as they sponsor a Toy Drive prior to the game. All fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to the game. Anyone who brings a toy will receive one free ticket to the December 26 Sharks game against the Hartford Wolf Pack at the DCU Center. The unwrapped toys will benefit Mass D.S.S. and Worcester Kids Fund.

Don't forget every Friday night is College Night and all college students can enjoy an $8 Sharks ticket with a valid College I.D. There will be on ice Turkey Bowling during the second intermission.
