Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release

July 7, 2008 - Monday's game between the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Kane County Cougars has been suspended with Kane County leading 6-4 at the end of the third inning.

Because the Kernels and Cougars do not play again in Cedar Rapids, the game will be continued when the Kernels go to Kane County for a three game series, August 13-15. The exact date and time will be announced soon.

Fans with tickets in the Plaza, Club and Premier seating areas may exchange them for a ticket of equal value at any remaining regular season home game, based on availability.

After a travel day on Tuesday, the Kernels begin a six game road trip with games at Lansing and Great Lakes. They return to Dale and Thomas Popcorn Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, July 16 to open a six game series with Dayton and South Bend.

Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.kernels.com , or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Ticket Office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
