Kennedy Returned to IceMen by Utica

November 23, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Evansville IceMen News Release

EVANSVILLE, Ind.- Forward, Patrick Kennedy has been returned to the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, from the Utica Comets. However, Kennedy will not be back in time to play in tonight's game against the Greenville Road Warriors.

Before being recalled by Utica, Kennedy led the IceMen with eight points through six games. The Dorchester, ON native had three multi-point games in those six contests.

Kennedy keyed Evansville's early season success. With the 6'3 forward in the lineup, the IceMen averaged 3.67 goals per game and were 4-1-0-1. Since Kennedy's departure Evansville went 1-6-0-0 and mustered just 1.71 goals per game.

In three games with Utica, Kennedy was held scoreless with a +1 rating. Kennedy's shot blocking and defensive abilities have also been missed as the IceMen have surrendered four goals per game with out him.

Kennedy will not play for the IceMen as Evansville wraps up its first three games in three nights stretch on Sunday Nov. 23 against the Greenville Road Warriors at the Ford Center. The IceMen are 5-2 at home this season.

It Takes a Village will be at the game with several animals that fans can adopt on the spot as the IceMen celebrate Paws and Pucks night.

It will also be the first Subway Sunday at the Ford Center. Fans can get a ticket, a t-shirt, a popcorn, and a soda all for just $19. Call an IceMen ticket representative at 812-421-GOAL to get a Subway Sunday package today.
