Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today that rookie forward Keith Johnson has been recalled to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.

The Grizzlies are the proud ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the NHL's New York Islanders.

Johnson leaves Utah as the team's leading goal scorer with 14 goals and 8 assists in 24 games. He tied an all-time Utah high November 24 with five points in a game when he tallied three goals and two assists in an 8-3 win versus Stockton.

He becomes the eighth player this season to get the call from Bridgeport to Utah. Six former Grizzlies are currently on the Sound Tigers roster.

The Grizzlies complete their ten-game home stand tonight and tomorrow with Fresno at the E-Center. Face-offs both evenings are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
