Salmon Kings Host Holiday Events This Week Vs. Alaska

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that they will be offering a host of holiday events during this week's three game series against the Alaska Aces.
On December 19th, 21st and 22nd, Marty the Marmot will do his best 'Saint Nick' impression, posing for holiday pictures in the front concourse of Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Presented by Japan Camera, this special event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. each night, with photos available for just $5.00.
On December 21st, Autograph Gallery and MVP Sports will be holding a Sports Memorabilia Silent Auction throughout the evening. Highlighted signatures will include Hall of Fame Heroes Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Hull, Guy Lafleur and many current NHL Stars. All items are guaranteed with a certificate of authenticity, and there is something for everyone!
On December 21st and 22nd, the Victoria Salmon Kings will also be hosting an auction where personalized Christmas tree ornaments, each designed and signed by a Salmon Kings player, will be available. All proceeds will be donated to various charities as part of the Booster Club's 'Goals That Give' program.
Rounding out the festivities will be the Salvation Army's Christmas Kettle Campaign, with volunteers accepting donations throughout the concourse prior and during the games on December 21st and 22nd.
The Salmon Kings return to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on December 19th, 21st and 22nd to take on last year's first-round playoff opponent, the Alaska Aces. All games begin at 7:05 p.m. Call 220-7889 for tickets.
