Kalamazoo Wings News Release

KALAMAZOO- Forward Curtis Valk has been recalled to the American Hockey League's Utica Comets.

Valk, who is the Kalamazoo Wings leading scorer, has posted 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) in nine games this season.

With being reassigned to the Comets, Valk becomes the fourth member of the K-Wings this season to either be called-up or loaned to an AHL team.

The K-Wings will return to the ice tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12th with a special 10:30 a.m. face-off versus the Fort Wayne Komets on Education Day presented by United Healthcare. Over 4,000 school-aged children are expected to cheer on the K-Wings tomorrow morning at Wings Stadium. Wednesday's game gives children the opportunity to apply school subjects they learn everyday in the classroom to the sport of hockey.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans along with group ticket packages (15 or more people) may be ordered through the K-Wings front office by calling (269) 743-6011.
