Brace Named Grand Vue Park Player of the Month
November 11, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Wheeling Nailers News Release
WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, have introduced the Grand Vue Park Player of the Month and Fan Cabin Giveaway.
Each month, the Nailers will select their Player of the Month, based on numbers and performance on the ice. From there, they will select one lucky fan to win a weekend stay in a luxurious cabin at Grand Vue Park, on behalf of the player. The lucky fan will also receive an autographed puck by the player.
"We have an awesome partnership with the Nailers, which we believe will help the Nailers grow in Marshall County, while we continue to build up our recognition in and around Wheeling," said Grand Vue Park General Manager Craig White. "We are excited to invite the great fans of the Nailers to our park this season, so they can enjoy all of our tremendous amenities."
October's Grand Vue Park Player of the Month is forward Riley Brace. During October, Brace compiled three goals, three assists, and six points in four games, and is currently the team leader in all three categories with 5-9-14 totals. Riley's impact on the scoresheet occurred almost immediately, as he picked up a hat trick, as part of a four-point game on Opening Night.
"We are thrilled to have this partnership with Grand Vue Park, as they are providing our fans with a new opportunity to enjoy a complimentary stay at their beautiful facility," said Nailers Vice President Craig Bommer. "We believe this will enhance our fan experience, while also giving us a chance to publicly recognize our players for their efforts," he said.
On behalf of Riley, the Nailers have selected John Stewart to receive a weekend stay in a luxurious cabin at Grand Vue Park.
The Nailers will play host to the Orlando Solar Bears on Friday night at 7:35. For tickets and more information, call (304) 234-GOAL.
