ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Ontario's Carzo fined, suspended

Ontario's Rocco Carzo has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #90, Utah at Ontario, on Nov. 8.

Carzo was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 8:46 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Carzo will miss Ontario's games against Stockton tonight (Nov. 11) and at Utah on Nov. 14.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Missouri's Langdon fined, suspended

Missouri's Scott Langdon has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as the result of his actions in ECHL Game #783, Missouri at Wichita, on Nov. 9.

Langdon was assessed a match penalty for illegal check to the head under Rule #48.5 at 12:08 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Langdon will miss Missouri's games against Allen on Nov. 14 and at Tulsa on Nov. 15.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
