Greenville, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, are pleased to announce the launch of
Face-Off for Fitness, a new after-school initiative aimed at teaching grade school students the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
"We are excited about the launch of this new educational program and the impact that it can make on children in our community," Executive Vice President and General Manager Chris Lewis said. "It is important that we are a part of the effort to help young people make healthy decisions and this program will help to both educate our young fans and keep them active."
Beginning tomorrow, November 12th, members of the Road Warriors team and staff will conduct a 45-minute program to better inform students on stretching, stick handling, shooting and making healthier choices. Details on the first after-school program are listed below. Members of the media are encouraged to attend and cover the inaugural event.
