Justin Bowers Voted Into CHL All-Star Team Starting Lineup

ALLEN, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced the starting lineup for the 2010 All-Star Team, and Americans alternate captain and top scorer Justin Bowers will be traveling to Laredo, Texas, for the game Jan. 13 after being voted into the opening lineup.
The starters were selected via voting done by league head coaches, communications departments and select media members from CHL cities. Additional Americans could be announced this Thursday when the league releases the rest of the All-Star Team's roster.
The CHL All-Star Team is made up of players from all CHL teams with the exception of the Laredo Bucks, the Corpus Christi IceRays and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. The Bucks, IceRays and Killer Bees will combine to form the South Texas All-Star Team.
Bowers has amassed 13 goals and 27 assists to score 40 points this season in 28 games. The forward is fifth in league scoring and is a +15 for the season. This will his first CHL All-Star game, and he will become the first American in club history to start in the All-Star game.

The Americans, the Dallas Stars' CHL affiliate, began play this fall in the newly built Allen Event Center in The Village at Allen.
