PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - David Nimmo, Andy Brennan and Jake Obermeyer each collected a pair of points and Mike Brown turned aside 35 of 37 shots as the visiting Amarillo Gorillas topped the Arizona Sundogs by a 4-2 mark at Tim's Toyota Center Tuesday night.

Brown carried a shutout into the game's final four minutes before Joey Sides and Torren Delforte spoiled the effort with a pair of markers.

Sides picked up his fourth of the season with 4:01 to play in the contest from Nick Biondo, cutting the deficit to three before assisting on Delforte's 13th of the year less than two minutes later.

Austin Sutter opened scoring in the contest with the first of four unanswered 5:15 into opening frame, sneaking a low turn-around shot through Sergey Klimkovich for an early 1-0 advantage.

Nimmo grabbed his first of two tallies on the night with 3:38 remaining in the first, redirecting an Obermeyer shot from the point past Klimkovich for a two-goal cushion after 20 minutes of play.

Skating 5-on-4 after a Rob Lehtinen slashing penalty early in the second, Nimmo stretched his club's lead to three with up his second of the game from Brennan and Gordon Bell at the 4:59 mark.

Stuart MacRae all but secured the win with the Gorillas' fourth of the game 3:17 into the third period from Obermeyer and Jason Beeman.

Klimkovich suffered the loss, turning aside 20 shots in his first start for Arizona.

The Sundogs finished 1-for-6 with the man-advantage while the Gorillas converted once on five power-play chances.

Next up for Arizona (9-17-3) are the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Thursday for the team's annual New Year's Eve game at 7:35pm. Tickets start at just $14 and are available by phone at 1-866-4-GET-TIX (1-866-443-8849), online at www.gettix.net and in person at the Tim's Toyota Center Box Office.
