Jones Called-Up To Worcester

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Matt Jones has been called-up to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League.

Jones has earned 27 points (17 goals, 10 assists) in 29 games with Kalamazoo. The native of Kentwood, Michigan is also the only member of the K-Wings to record multiple hat tricks this season.

Heading to the Worcester for the second time this season, Jones played 13 games earlier this season with Worcester.

In his career, Jones has earned 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) in 66 games with Worcester.

Jones becomes the 22nd call-up from the K-Wings this season to play in the AHL.

The K-Wings will conclude their three-game home stand Friday, February 5th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Cincinnati Cyclones on Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.
