Jake Bray Joins Delmarva as Pair Heads to Frederick

HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds, in conjunction with the Baltimore Orioles, have announced the following roster moves:

#36 RHP Cory Jones transferred from Delmarva (A) to Frederick (A+)

#23 RHP Lucas Long transferred from Delmarva (A) to Frederick (A+)

#N/A RHP Jake Bray transferred from Aberdeen (SS) to Delmarva

The roster currently has 24 active players (12 pithcers, 12 position players).

Jake Bray comes to Delmarva after spending the first couple of weeks in extended spring training. Bray is a 23 year old bullpen pitcher from Feather River College. He resides in San Diego, California but went to high school in Sparks, Nevada. Bray was drafted by Baltimore in the 12th round in the 2013 MLB First Year Player Draft. In two season of minor league ball, Bray is 2-1 with a 1.26 ERA in 43 innings of work. He saved 10 games for the Aberdeen Ironbirds last summer.

The first pitch of tonight's game is scheduled for 7:05 pm. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports AM 960 and online at foxsports960.com.
