
GreenJackets Host Final Two High School Series Games

AUGUSTA, GA- The Augusta GreenJackets have announce the final two games of the 2016 Amateur Baseball series presented by Augusta University Health. Lake Olmstead Stadium will be hosting the final two games of the 2016 Amateur Baseball series: Cross Creek versus Harlem Wednesday, April 20th at 6pm and Greenwood versus Strom Thurmond, with the Junior Varsity matchup at 5pm and the Varsity doubleheader game at 7pm, taking place Thursday, April 21st.
The Director of Marketing for Augusta University, Aubrey Hinkson, commented, "We are proud to partner with the GreenJackets on a program that allows local high school baseball teams a chance to play at a professional stadium and the stadium that hosts our Augusta University Jaguar Baseball team. We wish everyone the best of luck."
Game 1:
Wednesday April 20th - Greenwood High School v. Strom Thurmond High School
Game 2:
Thursday April 21st - Cross Creek High School v. Harlem High School
Tickets are $10.00 and will be available at the gate for each day of games. Each ticket includes admission into the high school game and a future GreenJackets game selected by the participating school. A portion of the proceeds will also be given back to the high school from which the ticket was purchased.
The 28th consecutive season of professional baseball in Augusta is underway.
