
Jacksonville and Iowa Suspended Thursday Night

Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp News Release
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Thursday's scheduled contest between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and the Iowa Cubs has been suspended due to inclement weather with the game scoreless in the bottom of the first inning. The game will resume Friday at 5:05 p.m. and will be played through nine innings. Friday's regularly scheduled contest will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one and will be a seven-inning contest. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Fans holding a ticket to Thursday's game can exchange that ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability, to any remaining 2022 game at the Miller Electric Box Office.
When play resumes on Friday, the Jumbo Shrimp will have the bases empty and two outs in a scoreless bottom of the first.
Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. on a Red Shirt Friday. The Jumbo Shrimp will be taking the field in their Bold City jerseys to support the military. Fans who wear red can save $1 off at the Miller Electric Box Office. It's also Friday Night Lites, with $2 12 oz. Miller Lites and $1 off craft beers in the Craft Cave. Friday's game is Fan Appreciation Night presented by 121 Financial Credit Union, FIS and Publix and the Jumbo Shrimp would like to send a sincere "Thank You" to all of the fans who came out this season. Fan Appreciation Night will conclude with an amazing fireworks show.
