Jackson Re-Assigned, Miller Released

Defenseman Dallas Jackson has been re-assigned to the Gladiators from the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League. In addition, defenseman Brad Miller has been released by the team.

Jackson returns to Gwinnett after his second stint in the AHL this season. While with Lake Erie, Jackson earned his first AHL point, an assist, in two games with the Monsters. He has appeared in five AHL games this season with Lake Erie and Bridgeport.

The Edson, Alberta native shares first among Gladiators defensemen in scoring with 24 points (seven goals, 17 assists) in 54 games this season. He has also earned a +7 plus minus rating while with Gwinnett this season.

Miller earned 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) in 35 games this season with Gwinnett. In four seasons in the ECHL, Miller has totaled 46 points (17 goals, 29 assists) in 94 career games with Idaho, Elmira, Trenton and Gwinnett.

The Gladiators return to action on Wednesday as they host the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
