March 13, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Colorado Eagles News Release

LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles of the ECHL are proud to announce that they've teamed up with Northern Colorado Youth Hockey (NCYH) to help raise funds for youth hockey program through an electronic "50:50" raffle held at Eagles home games at the Budweiser Events Center. In a 50:50 raffle, the winner receives half of the total proceeds, and the fundraising organization (NCYH in this case) receives the other half; the more raffle tickets purchased, the higher the pot gets.

The 50:50 raffle will run during each Eagles home game beginning this Friday, starting when the doors open and ending with the start of the third period of play. During the third period, the winning ticket number (selected by a random number generator), will be announced inside the arena.

Tickets can be purchased* in sets of three ($5), seven ($10) or 17 ($20) from NCYH representatives at Eagles home games. In addition to a booth set up next to the Eagles' merchandise stand, representatives will be stationed around the concourse with mobile raffle registration devices.

For complete rules and details on winning -- or for any other questions -- please contact NCYH by phone at 970-377-3977 or via email at marketing@ncyh.org. The 50:50 booth will also be set up at Wednesday night's game and staffed by NCYH representatives to answer any questions. The raffle will be run through "Bump 50:50," a company currently running similar raffles in several NHL venues; this is their first venture into an ECHL team's arena.

* - Must be at least 18 years of age to purchase raffle tickets. Cash transactions only. Winner does not need to be present to claim prize.
