IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals and the Trenton Titans meet for the final time this season as they enter the last week of the ECHL regular season. The Jackals, who have clinched the Atlantic Division championship, trail the Gwinnett Gladiators by one point for first place in the Eastern Conference with three games remaining. The Jackals tonight will try to tie their franchise record since joining the league for road wins in a season of 20, set in 2007-2008. Elmira's 43 victories are the most for the club since it joined the ECHL.
COWICK RETURNS IN STYLE
Corey Cowick returned from a two-week stint with the Binghamton Senators in style this past weekend, posting goals in all three games, including two on Saturday. The second-year pro is on a four-game goal streak (4g-1a) dating back to Mar. 4.
HOME FINALE THIS FRIDAY
The Jackals will host the Reading Royals in the regular season home finale on Friday night. The first 500 fans attending the game will receive the 2011-2012 Jackals team photo. Season ticket holders will also be able to pick up the season ticket holder photo, which was taken after Elmira's game against Florida on Mar. 16. Prior to the game, the Jackals' annual awards, including the club's MVP, will announced.
