Jackals Add Robinson, Tuttle

The Elmira Jackals announced Wednesday that they have been assigned defenseman Mat Robinson from their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The Jackals also announced that they have signed goaltender Casey Tuttle to an amateur tryout agreement.

With the Jackals this season, Robinson has five goals, 25 assists, and a +15. Robinson was named the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for January as he led the league with a +12. The Calgary, Alberta native recorded his first AHL assist in a 6-2 B-Sens win in Portland on Saturday.

Tuttle recently finished his final season at Elmira College, leading the Soaring Eagles to an NCAA Tournament appearance. The Chelsea, Maine native was second in the ECAC West Conference this season with a 14-7-1 record, a.916 save percentage, and a 2.40 goals-against average.
