Salmon Kings Get Brandt Back From Moose

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today Andy Brandt has returned from his loan to the Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The 26-year-old rejoins the Salmon Kings after competing in three games with the Moose where he recorded no points or penalty minutes. This was Brandt's second stint in the AHL this year after dressing for two games with the Lake Erie Monsters last month.

The 6-1, 184 lb. forward has played in 56 games with Victoria this season where he has registered 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points while accruing 31 penalty minutes.

The former NCAA champion with the University of Wisconsin Badgers has played in 209 career professional games scoring 102 points (40g-62a) with 98 minutes in penalties.

The Salmon Kings begin a six-game road tonight in Stockton, before traveling to Bakersfield for two games and Idaho for three. Victoria returns home for a three-game set versus the Utah Grizzlies with contests on Wednesday, March 31st, Friday, April 2nd, and Saturday, April 3rd.
