AT THE DISH: Starting pitcher Ryan Castellani put his team in front with a two-run double in the third inning ... Ryan Vilade connected on his fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the seventh ... Alan Trejo drove in a pair of runs ... Colton Welker had the only hit of a six-run eighth, a bases-clearing double ... LJ Hatch was 2-for-4 with three runs scored from the eight spot in the lineup ... Taylor Snyder entered via double-switch in the fifth and went 2-for-2 with a double and walk ... Greg Bird recorded his first triple since 2018 with the Yankees.
TOEING THE RUBBER: Castellani gave up seven hits and two earned runs in 4.1 frames with three walks and six punchouts for a no-decision ... Jesus Tinoco inherited a bases-loaded jam with one out in the fifth and escaped, Tinoco retired all five batters he faced and earned the victory ... Flamethrower Julian Fernández fanned a pair in a perfect seventh and he has now worked seven scoreless appearances spanning 6.1 frames to begin his Triple-A career.
TOPES TIDBITS: The Isotopes turned three double plays Monday night, the fifth time in the last seven contests they had multiple twin killings ... Wynton Bernard stole his 16th base of the season, tying him with Round Rock's Delino DeShields Jr. at fourth in Triple-A West ... Albuquerque has scored six runs in a frame five times this year, and three instances have come against the Dodgers (May 23, May 24, Aug. 9) ... The Topes are once again eight games behind first-place Sugar Land as the teams get ready to face off starting Thursday.
ON DECK: Albuquerque will wrap up a stretch of 30 games in 42 days at home Tuesday night. First pitch from Rio Grande Credit Union Field is set for 6:35 PM.
