AT THE DISH: Trailing 4-2 entering the eighth inning, the Isotopes scored four runs to take the lead for good. Noel Cuevas and Roberto Ramos both drew bases loaded walks to force in runs while Elliot Soto hit a fielder's choice to shortstop that scored two runs ... Ramos and Dom Nunez both hit home runs on Friday. Ramos' was his 14th of the year while Nunez's was his ninth ... Yonathan Daza, Nunez, Ramos and Soto each collected two hits during the contest.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Isotopes starter Ryan Castellani recorded his second quality start of the season. The 23-year-old right-hander allowed two earned runs and eight hits in 6.0 innings of work. Castellani also struck out seven batters while walking one ... DJ Johnson earned the win after tossing 2.0 scoreless innings of relief ... Jesus Tinoco closed out the ninth to seal the victory.

TOPES TIDBITS This was the Isotopes' fifth win in 2019 when trailing after seven innings ... Friday was the 100th game the Isotopes had ever played in Iowa ... Albuquerque is 3-6 in series openers on the road.
