
Iowa Recalls Forward

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that Iowa has recalled left wing Krys Barch from the Greenville (SC) Grrrowl of the ECHL.
A 1998 fourth round selection of the Washington Capitals, the 6-2, 200-pound Barch has skated in six games for the Stars this season. He recorded his only point, a goal, on January 13th in a 3-2 win in Houston. He also has 21 penalty minutes: 6(1/0/1)21. Currently in his sixth year as a pro, Barch has skated in 14 games for the Greenville Grrrowl this season, recording 10 goals, four assists and 75 penalty minutes: 14(10/4/14)75.
